On April 11, 2012 there was severe earthquakes in Indonesia, which shocks the neighboring countries alongside Indian ocean.
Government Agency has reported a 8.6 earthquake on the Richter scale off the coast of Aceh on Sumatra island and has issued a tsunami warning. However, several aftershocks have been forced to issue another alarm that there is high chances of Tsunami among the 28 countries bordering the Indian Ocean waters.
The United States Geological Observatory confirmed the first earthquake about 500 miles southwest of Banda Aceh and hypocenter of just over 30 kilometers deep.
The first quake has been felt in several cities in India, specially southern most parts of the country. New Delhi immediately issued another Tsunami alert for the coastal areas.
"Peoples are advised to move on high terrains and away from ocean. Fisherman should avoid visiting Indian ocean." said on its website the Center for Tsunami Early Warning for India.
